The Network presented a joint conference for the provider and commissioner projects.
New for the 2017/18 work programme, the Outpatients project has taken a strategic overview of outpatient departments. For the commissioning sector, the Planned Care project provided a strategic overview of the level of investment and activity in planned care, and approaches to demand management.
At the conference, Network Director- Claire Holditch, and Project Manager- Jessica Grantham presented the key findings from the first iteration of the project.
We are delighted that National Director for Clinical Quality and Efficiency- Tim Briggs, and Andi Thornton representing Cambridge University Hospitals, presented national and local updates respectively.
We are also grateful to Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, and East Sussex Healthcare Trust who shared their good practice and innovation.
