The latest iteration of the Secure Services benchmarking work focuses on the three High Secure services in England.

The aim of this data collection is to provide robust intelligence to NHS England Specialised Commissioning on the three High Secure hospitals in England. This will include service level comparisons and cumulative patient profiling. No identifiable patient level data is collected as part of this exercise. This intelligence will be used by NHS England Specialised Commissioning to establish the national baseline for the review of different service categories across secure services provision.

This work builds on earlier collections undertaken for Low Secure and Medium Secure services. The High Secure exercise ran from 28th September 2018 to 19th November 2018.
