The NHS Benchmarking Network are delighted to announce that the 2016 CAMHS benchmarking project is now open for data collection. The project will take place across the 4 countries of the UK and is the main reference point for data and analytics on children and young people’s mental health. The project aims to collect UK wide data on CAMHS, and describe the nature of CAMHS demand, capacity, and the extent of variation that exists across the NHS.
The project explores community based CAMHS and also specialist inpatient services. Participants can use the project to compare the characteristics of local service portfolios as well as positions on; demand, activity, waiting times, workforce, finance, service quality and outcomes.
All participants will receive a detailed analysis report and a software tool which allows local profiling of all comparisons. Participants are also encouraged to attend our annual CAMHS conference where the benchmarking results are launched. This year’s conference takes place in London on 16th November.
