Over 100 NHS Organisations already involved.
The Corporate Functions project is open to all NHS providers and provides a unique reference point to test your performance across a range of corporate services.
The project analyses; Payroll, Human Resources, Estates, IM&T, Procurement, Risk Management, Occupational Health, Clinical Governance, Communications, Catering, Strategy, and other back office functions.
The main aim of the project is to help organisations to understand how their back office functions compare and support service improvement. The NHS Benchmarking Network has worked with NHS Improvement to align the project with the work of Carter. A key addition for this project is a new section reviewing 2016/17 CIP/CRES saving schemes.
To date, there are over 100 participants signed up to this project and we expect it to be a great exercise with a wide range of comparator organisations to compare your services against. The project outputs will consist of; an online toolkit, a national summary report and for the first time, a bespoke report highlighting your organisation’s positions on a range of key metrics.
You can view the online analysis tools and summary reports from previous rounds of the project in our members' area – simply login and select ‘view outputs’.
There is no additional cost to participate in this project as your organisation is already a member of the Network. Data collection is currently open and will close on the 30th of September, although we do have some flexibility if required. Please login to the members' area to register your organisation to participate or, if you have any queries about the project, please contact Aidan Rawlinson who will be happy to help.
