Data collection for the 2016 Radiology benchmarking project is open.
The Radiology Project is now open to all providers of radiology services, and offers the most comprehensive analysis of radiology services available anywhere in the NHS.
The project includes detailed profiling of service models, equipment and capital, access arrangements, hours of availability, examination rates, procedures, reporting, outsourcing, finance, workforce, quality and audit.
New content for this year includes enhanced analysis of reporting, hours of availability, and reporting backlogs. There are also additional questions on clinical networks, shared reporting solutions and demand management initiatives.
Data collection will run until 8th July 2016, members of the NHS Benchmarking Network can log in to the members' area to register for the project and input data. The projects outputs include a benchmarking toolkit containing hundreds of benchmarked metrics, a high level national report outlining key messages and metrics for radiology services nationally, and free attendance at our Radiology event on 28th September 2016.
