The 2016 Pharmacy & Medicines Optimisation benchmarking project is open for data collection.
The Pharmacy Project is open to all NHS Provider organisations, providing a unique opportunity to compare your services against peer organisations.
The project builds on the successful first round of the project in which 140 Trusts took part, this year’s data requirements have been refined with the support of Pharmacists from Acute, Mental Health and Community Trusts, government departments and national bodies.
The project covers a wide range of topics including; pharmacy structure, workforce, pharmacy outturn costs, medicines spend, availability, clinical pharmacy, quality and good practice. The question set includes several new questions and topics that were requested by participants, and this has been achieved while reducing the overall size of the questionnaire.
Data collection will run until 22nd July 2016, and members can login to the members’ area to register for the project and input data. The project outputs include a benchmarking toolkit containing hundreds of benchmarked metrics, a high level national report outlining key messages and metrics for pharmacy and medicines optimisation services nationally, and free attendance at our national conference on 19th October 2016.
To register, and begin inputting your data to the project, please login to the members' area.
