Data collection for the 2017 Urgent Care benchmarking project is open

The Urgent Care project is open to all commissioners in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. To register, and begin inputting your data, please login to the members' area. Data collection, will run until 14th July 2017. 

The Urgent Care project includes; a whole systems analysis of urgent care covering finance and activity for all key system components, service models and other key performance indicators. Participation will enable you to access tangible and measurable evidence based comparisons to support contract discussions and help identify key priorities for investment and service redesign.

The projects outputs will include an online interactive toolkit consolidating all the metrics collected, a high level national report outlining key messages and findings, a bespoke report for participants and free attendance at our Urgent Care event on 4th October 2017.

The timescales for this project are as follows:

  • Project opens for data collection – 8th May 2017
  • Project closes for data collection – 14th July 2017
  • Data validation – August and September 2017
  • First draft comparisons and analysis toolkit – September 2017
  • Urgent Care Benchmarking Conference (London) – 4th October 2017
  • Final reports – November 2017
