The Pharmacy Project is open to all NHS Provider organisations, providing a unique opportunity to compare your services against peer organisations. Almost 150 NHS organisations have already registered including; nearly half of all Mental Health Trusts, the majority of Acute Trusts and community providers, all Welsh Health Boards and all Northern Ireland Health & Social Care Trusts.
The project covers a wide range of topics including; pharmacy structure, workforce, pharmacy outturn costs, medicines spend, availability, clinical pharmacy, quality and good practice. The specification includes several new questions and topics that were requested by participants, and this has been achieved while reducing the overall size of the questionnaire. The project builds on the successful first round of the project in which 140 Trusts took part, this year’s data requirements have been refined with the support of Pharmacists from Acute, Mental Health and Community Trusts, government departments and national bodies. The project provides participants with the ability to compare their services with peer organisations and identify opportunities for improvement.
Data collection will run until 22nd July 2016, however we do have flexibility if a little more time is required. To register and begin inputting your data to the Pharmacy project, please login to the members' area.
