Data collection for the 2016 Corporate Functions benchmarking project is now open.
The Corporate Functions project is open to all NHS providers and provides a unique reference point to test your performance and value across a range of corporate functions and shared services. The project analyses; Payroll, Human Resources, Estates, IM&T, Procurement, Risk Management, Occupational Health, Clinical Governance, Communications, Catering, Strategy, and other back office functions.
This year the project content has been aligned with the ongoing Carter Programme and given the economic pressures NHS Providers are under, the project now includes additional analysis of the top CIP/CRES/Savings Schemes that are currently being undertaken.
Data collection will run until 23rd September 2016, and you will need to log in to the members' area to register for the project and input your data. The project outputs include a benchmarking toolkit containing hundreds of benchmarked metrics, a high level national report outlining key messages and metrics for services nationally, and new for this year, bespoke reporting suitable for your boards.
There is no additional cost to participate in this project as your organisation is a member of the NHS Benchmarking Network. To register and begin inputting your data to the Corporate Functions project, please login to the members' area.
In addition; the Emergency Care, Radiology, Pharmacy & Medicines Optimisation, Community Services and Community Hospitals projects are currently open for data collection, and the Theatres and Older People’s Care in Acute Settings launch in September. Project registration is currently open online for all these projects.
