We are just 5 weeks away from the 2016/17 Benchmarking & Good Practice in Theatres & Planned Care Conference, which will take place on Wednesday 28th February 2017 at etc venues, Fenchurch Place.
Back in the work programme after a break in 2015/16, the Theatres project provides the most comprehensive intelligence available on NHS operating theatres delivery and performance. It covers all aspects of Theatres provision and performance, including perioperative medicine, operating hours, theatres performance, and quality.
You can [[access a summary]] of the projects for more information.
We are delighted to be joined by National Clinical Director for MSK- Peter Kay, and Associate NCD for Elective Care- Dr Ramani Moonesinghe. Joining these excellent guest speakers will be Ashford & St Peters Hospital NHSFT, discussing human factors, communication and teamwork within theatres, and Guy's and St Thomas' NHSFT, who will present a case stufy on their progress of their work around perioperative medicine. In addition to the line-up, Network Director Claire Holditch will present the first view of the findings from Theatres and Planned Care projects, and next steps for the projects.
