Bringing London's mental health sector on board
This month the EIP London programme wrote to organisations across London's mental health sector - charities, professional bodies, policy groups and service providers - to inform them of the new national EIP access and waiting time standard. As a result, a number of these organisations have contacted us to find out more about the new standards, the work that is taking place across London to prepare EI teams, and how the new standard may impact or interest their staff.
We have also sent data packs to CCGs and mental health trusts with the results of the research conducted by the NHS Benchmarking Network, and our new self-assessment readiness tool is now ready for trusts to use.

We interviewed Stephen Watkins, the man behind the research, to discuss the data on London's EIP services as a whole. Read more.
