We are pleased to launch data collection for the 2019 Mental Health Inpatient and Community project.

The Network’s well-established project on Mental Health Inpatient and Community services provides key intelligence and insight to support providers in effectively managing their services and meet the aspirations and challenges of the NHS Long Term Plan. The benchmarking project enables participants to make comparisons in areas including quality, finance and workforce, and helps them to face the productivity and efficiency challenge in a collaborative manner.

This project is open to all Network members' who provide mental health services. Last year’s project was the largest ever, with 100% of English Mental Health Trusts and Welsh University Health Boards and representation from Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Independent Sector.

The data collection deadline is the 15th July 2019. Following a comprehensive validation process, participants will receive access to a benchmarking toolkit of over 11,000 metrics, receive a bespoke report, and be invited to attend a national conference in October to hear about good practice and innovation in the field of mental health and findings from the 2019 project.
