The NHS Benchmarking Network is recruiting

The NHS Benchmarking Network continues to grow and thrive, producing valuable evidence and intelligence for Network members and national policy makers. In addition to our core programme of projects for commissioners and providers of NHS services, we are increasingly being asked to support the work of NHS England, the Department of Health and the Welsh government by undertaking local data collections and analysis. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our small, dynamic team, based near Manchester Airport. We are currently recruiting to the following roles:

Project Manager

The Network work programme is divided into four sectors; commissioning, mental health, community and acute. You will be allocated to a specific sector, based on your experience. Working closely with the Directors, Programme Managers, Project Co-ordinators and Technical team, the primary purpose of this role is to develop and deliver successful Network projects in your allocated sector. A key focus will be maximising participation in projects and constantly developing new and innovative content and project outputs for members. The role will be responsible for growing and maintaining the Network’s membership base for your allocated sector. You will be responsible for delivery of nationally commissioned projects and building relationships with national policy leads and partner organisations, such as professional bodies, in your area.

Person specification: We are seeking an individual with at least five years NHS management experience.

Information analyst

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Directors and Project Teams in delivering Network projects by undertaking data analysis and building output tools. The role will contribute to technical product development and innovation for the Network. The role will work as part of a team to support the benchmarking and analytics service for members and NHS bodies. This will involve supporting the production of Excel based toolkits and reports for national projects. Innovative use of data and teamwork will be key requirements for the successful applicant. Strong Excel and VBA skills are required.

Person specification: We are seeking an individual with at least three years’ experience as an NHS analyst.
