Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) aim is to promote quality improvement in patient outcomes, and in particular, to increase the impact that clinical audit, outcome review programmes and registries have on healthcare quality in England and Wales.

The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) (previously Public Health England) have published a set of STP level CVD Prevention packs, to support their national ambitions for CVD prevention. This is in addition to their CVD prevention profiles which provide information for Heart Disease, Stroke, Kidney Disease and Diabetes.

The Patients Association is a national health and social care campaigning charity, advocating for better access to accurate and independent information for patients and the public; equal access to high quality health and social care; and the right for patients to be involved in all aspects of decision making regarding their care and treatment. The Patient Panel consists of 35 members, who contribute to the patient and public involvement requirements of the audit.

The National Institute for Health & Care Excellence (NICE) have developed a CVD prevention interactive flowchart, covering identification and assessment of cardiovascular disease risk, to patient experience in adult NHS services.
