Each year the Network delivers a programme of highly informative and engaging events. Our events include:

These sessions highlight key findings from the data collection year, with guest speakers sharing good practice and time set aside for your questions about toolkits and reports. Held between September and December, each event runs for around two hours and offers valuable insights and practical takeaways.

Our in-person events explore a range of themes, often focusing on whole system topics, regional collaboration, and member award celebrations. There's something for everyone, with plenty of opportunities to connect and celebrate.

The Network welcomes non-members to selected events, however the majority are exclusively for member organisations.

The Mental Health and LDA Reference Group (MHLDARG) are a voluntary group of representatives from our mental health sector member organisations who provide invaluable insight into what is happening in mental health settings and advise us when reviewing our projects and their outputs.

The Community Reference Group (CRG) are a voluntary group of representatives from our community sector member organisations who provide invaluable insight into what is happening in community healthcare and advise us when reviewing our projects and their outputs.
The ICS Reference Group advise on project prioritisation and project content, the group will liaise and work with other benchmarking projects and sector reference groups to maximise benefits from all benchmarking opportunities for NHSBN members.

Benchmarking Findings Event: Mental Health 2025
This year, the Mental Health Event 2025 will be a full-day event hosted by NHSBN. It will offer attendees the unique opportunity to view national findings across both adults and children's mental health services for 2024/25.
The Steering Group meet virtually 3 times per year for Network Governance and once for an in-person away day which incorporates the governance meeting and setting and agreeing the work programme for the following membership year.
