NHSBN and Wessex AHSN held a collaborative workshop: Is Wessex Frailty Fit? The event brought together Wessex Trusts alongside national bodies, including the RCN and NHS England, to discuss frailty in the Wessex region and local action planning to create service improvement plans.Read More

The Network welcomes the publication of the 2018 Radiology project reports and toolkit, presenting the results of this year’s benchmarking project. This year is the eighth round of the Radiology project. 82 organisations participated in the project this year which has grown from 45 in the project’s first year.Read More
The NHSBN team are collaborating with Wessex AHSN to host a regional cut of the Managing Frailty in the Acute Settings 2018/19 project. The workshop will look to assist the AHSN with providing a stocktake of how frailty is managed across the acute sector through benchmarked comparisons.Read More

The Managing Frailty and Delayed Transfers of Care in the Acute Setting project provides a unique data set on the pathway of frail older people through secondary care, from assessment in A&E, assessment units inpatient wards and supported discharge. The new project continues the Network’s six-year partnership with the BGS.Read More
We are delighted to launch the 2018 Pharmacy & Medicines Optimisation project run by the NHS Benchmarking Network. This is the fourth iteration of the project and builds on last year’s project, in which over 170 organisations took part.Read More
