The CVDPREVENT Audit is pleased to announce a new collaboration agreement with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), marking an important step forward in strengthening cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention across healthcare systems in England.
This collaboration creates an opportunity for NICE and the CVDPREVENT delivery team to work together to draw on the strengths of their organisations and enhance the contribution that they each make for the benefit of the audiences and users we serve.
Cardiovascular disease remains one of the leading causes of premature mortality and health inequality in the UK. Through this new agreement, CVDPREVENT Audit and NICE will work together to support the uptake of evidence-based guidance, drive quality improvement initiatives, and encourage better prevention and management of cardiovascular disease within local healthcare systems.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to tackling CVD and addressing the systemic health inequalities associated with it. By our expertise, resources, and evidence-based approaches, the partnership aims to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes by supporting meaningful changes in clinical practice.
Further updates on joint initiatives, resources, and collaborative projects will be shared over the coming months.
